What is a Coffee & Cookie Malt?

We’re taking a spin off of the classic “cookies & cream” ice cream flavor here! Instead of vanilla ice cream, coffee ice cream is used as the base for this malt. That means each slurp is loaded full of espresso flavor. Combined with the chocolate sandwich cookies, it’s a match made in heaven! How can you go wrong with coffee and chocolate? It’s impossible!

These malts were so good that we couldn’t stop eating them. They are irresistible! Quick, easy and oh-so delicious.

Let’s Talk Coffee Ice Cream

When it comes to choosing a coffee ice cream, the possibilities really are endless! The freezer aisles at the grocery stores are loaded full of different options. Main thing: pick the one that you like the most!

From Java Chunk, to classically smooth Coffee Ice Cream, you really can’t go wrong! I was pleasantly surprised by the Java Chunk ice cream from Target, but Trader Joe’s also has a coffee ice cream that I love! Whatever carton you scoop, the end result is going to be delicious. Tell me your favorite coffee ice cream!

Malt Toppings

After the ice cream and cookies are blended together until smooth, it’s time to have some fun with the toppings! Whether it’s a classic swirl of whipped cream or a crumble of cookies, the toppings set the malt apart! Topping ideas:

• Whipped cream
• Crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies
• Chocolate syrup
• Chocolate covered espresso beans
• Chocolate chips
• Malt balls

In conclusion, it’s time to grab a blender, pull out the ice cream from the freezer and pull open the cookies because we have some malts to make! Blend everything up, pour into a glass, top with some whipped cream and dig in! I certainly couldn’t resist these Coffee & Cookie Malts.
